Abuse of Iranian citizens is a ubiquitous phenomena , both at embassies inside Iran and abroad. Now that speaker of parliament , Mr. Larijani asked for more respectful treatment of Iranians at the hands of Emirates officials , I think he should do something for , well pretty much the rest of the world too.

Slumdog millionaire , a critically acclaimed English film about an orphan turned millionaire , which was nominated for ten academy awards , plunged in Indian theatres . the failure to launch , in my opinion has something to do , with the harsh reality of poverty in the biggest democracy of Asia. Culture , and essentially the civilization would not thrive if there is no middle class in a balanced society.

BBC Persian , the first of its kind , is a professional and world-class media for Persian speaking coutries , taking into consideration that political and cultural weight of Iranian society among them are significant , one can clearly see that it’s geared toward Iranians. BBC always brought the trend of impartial news broadcasting , let’s hope they can deliver this once more , in Persian.
